I have been thinking about 'Intarsa' a form of scrollsawing. I haven't had any experience at it or seen any done close up. I visualized from magazines how it was done so I thought I would try some. Since we started going to Christ Methodust Church of Leesburg. I saw the 'Cross with the Flame' as a good pattern. This is what I came up with.

Plaque for 'Holt Hall'

Christ Methodist Church's Pastor James Holden phoned me while we were vacationing at Vero Beach. He ask me if I would scroll saw a plaque for the new Fellowship Hall. The Plaque will dedicate the hall to Mike Holt a founding member of the Church. I Gladly accepted. After deciding on a design, one plaque was made for the hall.

This is a game for kids 6+ I made 3 of them. The object is to toss the ring on the string up into the air and ketch it on the nose of the clown. looks hard but it can be done!
Here is a 5 layered Cross of Jesus which I have done seven or eight of. The lines on Jesus body are actually cut in with the saw blade for detail.

This is a Cross with Vines with different back plaques.
Here is a Swan napkin holder,

a Circus Hourse,

Deer in the Woods,

and Santa all were done recently.

This woodburning of a Deer
was as the only deer I got this season!

Here are more scrollsaw projects. Two different Windmill Clocks with a close up of the fret work. This was a fun project but detailed and intricate.
